Julia Silver is a transdisciplinary researcher with knowledge in sustainability, public policy, education, civic engagement, and consumption behavior. She is particularly interested in the ways in which politics intersectionally impact communities’ sustainability. Julia holds a Master of Science degree in Sustainability from Arizona State University (ASU), and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from Loyola Marymount University (LMU).
Julia is currently employed as a Research Analyst for the University of California, Los Angeles’ Latino Policy & Politics Initiative (LPPI), where she supports the development, management, and execution of LPPI’s research in health, mobility and opportunity, democracy and voting rights, immigrant rights, and criminal justice.
