I am a PhD student in the School of Sustainability at Arizona State University. My work explores the teaching and learning processes and outcomes of instructors and students related to sustainability and human-environment interactions in higher education.
More specifically, I will investigate the efficacy of assessment strategies in analyzing the development of student competencies that predict meaningful action and change in the broader world. I also bring to these endeavors a background in non-formal teacher education, interdisciplinary perspectives, and environmental and cultural history.
